Shane Ryan is Senior Advisor to The National Lottery Community Fund former Global Executive Director of the Avast Foundation and former Deputy Director for The National Lottery Community Fund, former multi award winning CEO of Working with Men (Future Men). Under his stewardship WWM built a national reputation as a solution focused organisation offering evidence based approaches to community needs and issues particularly around conflict and transition, father’s development, masculinity and youth unemployment. Having worked in variety of inner city areas tackling drug use and managing the UK’s first mobile health care facilities for the NHS until 1995, Shane moved to the voluntary sector and into various managerial appointments in charities as well as a Home Office secondment and projects taking him to the USA and Japan. Shane has over 25 years experience working with young people and through WWM is a frequent advisor and speaker on non-profit matters covering the entire range of his charities work nationally. 

Jonathan Rallings is a policy professional specialising in adults and children's social policy for 25 years.  In this time he has worked for a number of organisations across the public, private and voluntary sectors including London Councils, Daycare Trust and the Early Years Alliance.

Jonathan's first experience of working on fathers´ policy was in 2001 leading a project called 'My Dad, My Protector' for the NSPCC which promoted the role of fathers in safeguarding.  In 2012 whilst at Barnardo's he led the development of the seminal report 'Are We Nearly There Yet, Dad?' which highlighted the lack of provision for fathers across public services and led to significant policy input into the Life Chances strategy in 2016.

This work led Jonathan into contact with the Fathers´ Development Foundation to which he provided policy advice and support informally before joining as a full Board member in 2020.

A social activist and systems change maker with strong leadership and advocacy skills. Yansie is an academic and practitioner committed to improving mental health and wellbeing outcomes for the African diaspora and is a speaker, training facilitator and advisor. She has written newspaper articles, blogs and book chapters on a range of topic including Men’s Health, Menopause, Grief.

Yansie is a Board member of Future Men a specialist charity that supports boys and men along the path to becoming dynamic future men, whilst addressing the stereotypes around masculinity and engaging in the wider conversation of what it means to be a man. 

Lalita is an expert communications campaign strategist and a social media specialist skilled at boosting profiles and creating online buzz.  She has over 30 years of multi-media experience working in BBC News, and is an Exec Producer, digital trainer, consultant, and events organiser with the BBC Academy’s Fusion Digital initiative, with special focus on social media good practice and digital innovation. Lalita is full of original, creative ideas to maximise coverage and reach target audiences.
